Fall For It

Players practice Feint Moves and scoring.

    • Split your playing space into 3-4 sections

    • Cone- to mark the beginning of the line 25 feet from the goal

    • Drop two cones staggered between the line and the goal

    • Balls

    • Disc cones

    • Goals

  • Players practice 2 feint moves and then score.

    1. Player starts with the ball and does a feint move to the right on cone 1, a feint move to the left on cone 2, and shoots.

    2. Player then throws the ball from the goal to the next player in line and they return to the back of their line.

    • Add in a few cones in the goal to make it harder to score

    • Have each group go at the same time and give them 20 seconds to complete their drill

    • Have team practice cheering each other on

Reflection: Social Awareness

1. During the game what feelings did you see other people expressing? How did you know?

-Some were laughing so they were happy, some were quiet and focused, some were angry when their ball was captured

2. What can we say or do if someone is upset during a game?

Praise them for working hard

Encourage them to keep going

Don't tease them or gloat if you stole their ball
