Try and get to the base before being caught.

    • Open space with boundaries

    • No Equipment

  • The goal of the game is for the tagger(s) to get everyone tagged or “stuck in the mud”.

  • 1. Depending on how many people are playing, either 1-3 players are assigned to be the “taggers”.

    2. The game then starts and the taggers try to tag the other players.

    3. If another player gets tagged, they have to put their hands above their head, spread their legs apart, and stay right where they are.

    4. You can become “untagged” if another player, who is not “tagged” crawls through your legs and do not get tagged while doing so.

    5. The taggers are not allowed to only stand by the people that are already tagged. They have to try to tag the other players.

    6. Once the players have all been tagged, the game is over and new taggers are assigned.

    • A player who gets tagged immediately does ten jumping jacks to get back in the game. This encourages physical activity and allows the once tagged player resume play.

    • If there are more than three “taggers” give “taggers” bandannas. Bandannas will help identify “taggers” from untagged players.

    • Make sure all students are comfortable with someone crawling through legs, if not give them an alternative like "high five"
