4 Goals with Shooting

Scrimmage with 4 goals

• Set Up

  • 4 goals with 4 goalkeepers at each side of the field, if possible. If not, use smaller goals and no goalkeepers.

• Equipment

  • Balls

  • Disc cones

  • Goals

  • Pinnies

• Objective

  To score more points than the opposing team.

• Directions

  1. 2 teams play against each other, 4v4, 5v5, etc.

  2. Players can score any of the 4 goals they are attacking.

• Variations

  • Create zones players where players shoot from

  • Increase/decrease field size

  • Limit amount of touches for players

• Coaching Points

  • Encourage students to keep their heads up, looking at the target when shooting.

  • Give shout-outs when a player has a good first touch to set up a shot.
