6 Goals

Two teams with 3 goals score by dribbling the ball through their opponent’s gates.

• Set Up

  • Create a large rectangular playing field

  • Make 3 gates with cones at each end of the field

  • Each gate is ~3 ft. wide

• Equipment

  • Cones to mark goals/gates

  • Cones to outline field

• Objective

  To dribble through the opponent's gates to score.

• Directions

  1. Each team defends and attacks 3 gates.

  2. Players must dribble/run the ball through the gate in order to earn points.

  3. Side gates: 3 points

  4. Central gate: 5 points.

• Variations

  • Change points system for each gate.

  • Create overloads for teams - 5x3.

• Coaching Points

  • Encourage players to make quick decisions.
